Boston Children’s Hospital and Bain Capital Celebrate Their Partnership

Bain Capital and Boston Children’s Hospital have a deep relationship that spans nearly three decades of philanthropy, service, and engagement, and the hospital has personally touched many of Bain Capital’s employees.

In honor of Bain Capital’s commitment to the hospital over the years, Boston Children’s Hospital hosted a special celebration in Bain Capital’s honor on Thursday, February 1.

At the reception, Bain Capital was presented with a plaque that now hangs at Boston Children’s that reads “In recognition of Bain Capital Community Partnership for its extraordinary philanthropic commitment to Boston Children’s Hospital. Through board and committee leadership, extensive volunteer service and ongoing support, Bain Capital and its employees have helped us drive scientific breakthroughs, strengthen our local community, and save the lives of children worldwide.”

Bain Capital was also presented with a “Tree of thanks” made by Sylvia, their Child Life Artist-in-Residence. It has leaves decorated by patient families with messages of appreciation and gratitude for Bain Capital’s longstanding commitment and generosity to Boston Children’s. The tree currently stands in Bain Capital Boston office.
