Massachusetts Secretary of Education Paul Reville moderated a dynamic and thought-provoking conversation between State Representative Alice Peisch, Assistant Superintendent of Boston Public Schools (and Jumpstart alumna) Priya Tahiliani, and Bright Horizons Executive Chairman (and Jumpstart National Board Member) Dave Lissy. The timing of the discussion was important, coming on the heels of news that the education gap between high and low performers is widening, and 4th grade reading scores remain stagnant. The panel covered a wide range of topics and, with both optimism and pragmatism, identified opportunities to solve for the problem of delivering high-quality early education at scale.
