This spring, Bain Capital employees helped hundreds of students through the annual Year Up Professional Clothing Drive. Starting in mid-March, Bain Capital employees gathered suits, dresses and other professional attire for students involved with Year Up, a program that provides young adults with the skills, experience, and support they need to enhance their professional careers. In its fifth consecutive year of involvement, Bain Capital received an overwhelming response from employees. In total, the firm collected 15 large boxes of professional business attire, which were delivered to Year Up students in time for the start of their spring internships.

"This was a great opportunity to not only get involved in a fantastic Bain Capital initiative, but to also contribute some time to an important cause," shared Bain Capital Private Equity Associate David Aron.  "A part of this resonated deeply with me because I remember my first day at an internship, not knowing anyone and feeling like a fish out of water. The importance of being dressed for success is something we can all empathize with – and it was so rewarding to deliver that feeling to young adults who need it."
