Alex Evans joined Bain Capital in 2021. He is a Managing Director on the Crypto team. Alex partners with missionary founders who champion open architectures and user agency. He has published research in cryptography, optimization, and quantitative finance
Prior to joining Bain Capital Crypto, Alex was an early-stage investor and researcher at Placeholder.
EDUCATION
Alex holds a bachelors in economics from the University of Virginia.
