EXPERIENCE

Alex Goins joined Bain Capital in 2025. He is a Managing Director and Head of Strategic Capital for the Insurance business.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Alex was Head of Alternative Investments, Private Credit, and Investment Strategy for Lincoln Financial Group where he was responsible for the company’s private credit and equity portfolios as well as the launch of its private market funds business.  Prior to Lincoln, Alex was a private equity investor in the US and Europe with The Riverside Company.

EDUCATION

Alex received an MSc in finance from the London School of Economics and a BSBA in finance and international business from Georgetown University.
