EXPERIENCE

Alex Nelson joined Bain Capital in 2024. She is an Executive Vice President in the Portfolio Group and a member of the Europe Private Equity team. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Alex was a general manager within AB InBev’s venture arm, Zx Ventures, building and scaling digital businesses, including PerfectDraft and Zé delivery, across Europe and the Americas. Alex started her career at Boston Consulting Group in their London, Boston, and New York offices, supporting consumer clients on growth strategy and operational transformations.

EDUCATION

Alex received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
