EXPERIENCE

Dr. Amir Zamani joined Bain Capital in 2018. He is a Partner on the Life Sciences team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Amir was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in the Biopharmaceutical and Medical Products Practice. Before McKinsey, he was a resident in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

EDUCATION

Amir received his MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with distinction in both biological sciences (BS) and economics (BA).
