EXPERIENCE

Bart Gombert joined Bain Capital in 2011. He is a Partner and General Counsel for Asia Private Equity.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Bart was an attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in London and focused on private equity M&A. Prior to Simpson Thacher, he was an attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in London and New York. Bart also worked as a corporate lawyer in Brussels for several years.

EDUCATION

Bart received an LLM degree with distinction from Northwestern University School of Law and he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ghent School of Law.
