EXPERIENCE

Charles Lawson joined Bain Capital in 2016. He is a Partner and member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, focusing on investments in the Consumer, Financial and Business Services, and Technology verticals .

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Charles worked at Advent International in New York where he focused on investments in technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Before Advent, he spent several years as a management consultant with Bain & Company in Sydney and New York, where he advised clients in a broad range of industries. Charles began his career as a lawyer, working as a Judge’s Associate (Clerk) at the Federal Court of Australia.

EDUCATION

Charles received his MBA from The Wharton School and holds an LLB and BCom from the University of Sydney.
