EXPERIENCE

Elissa Uspensky joined Bain Capital in 2022 as an Associate General Counsel and Head of Litigation for the firm. Prior to joining Bain Capital, she was a litigation attorney at Ropes & Gray, LLP in Boston with a focus on complex civil litigation and government investigations. Elissa also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven A. Higginson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. 
 

EDUCATION

Elissa received her JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. She received her BA, cum laude, from Harvard University. She is a member of the state bars of Massachusetts and New York.
