EXPERIENCE

Hajime Shimazu joined Bain Capital in 2012. He is a Managing Director on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Hajime worked at Boston Consulting Group in the Tokyo and Beijing offices, primarily on growth strategy, new business development, operational improvement, and M&A engagements in the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) industry.

EDUCATION

Hajime received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He received a BS in economics from the University of Tokyo.
