James Plaut joined Bain Capital in 2024. He is an Associate on the Life Sciences team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, James was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he advised healthcare and private equity clients on strategic and operational problems.

James graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with a BA in chemistry and physics.
