EXPERIENCE

Karl Spielmann joined Bain Capital in 2016. He is a Managing Director on the Public Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Karl was a Portfolio Manager at Silvaris Capital Management in London, focused on the financial services, real estate, and financial technology industries. Previously, he worked at Och-Ziff Capital Management, where he covered European Financials out of the firm’s London office.

EDUCATION

Karl received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and holds a BA in economics from Oberlin College.
