Kei Komachi

EXPERIENCE

Kei Komachi joined Bain Capital in 2023. He is a Senior Vice President of the Portfolio Group and a member of the Asian Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Kei worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in the Tokyo office. He was engaged in M&A/PMI support, company-wide transformation, and growth strategy creation, mainly for financial institutions and manufacturing companies. Before joining McKinsey, he worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group as an M&A banker.

EDUCATION

Kei received an MBA from Colombia University and BE from the University of Tokyo.
