EXPERIENCE

Marc Thibaut joined Bain Capital in 2022. He is an Operating Partner in the Portfolio Group and a member of the Europe Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Marc worked at Wayfair in Boston, leading the seller-facing technology agenda for operations. While there, he oversaw the development and launch of platforms that enabled the company's 50%+ growth in revenue to $14B during the 2020-2021 pandemic. Prior to Wayfair, Marc worked at Activision-Blizzard in New York where he led the launch of advertising products growing to over $150M in two years. Prior to Activision Blizzard, he worked for McKinsey & Company in the New York, Singapore, and Brussels offices where he was a leader in the Technology, Media, and Telecom practice.
 

EDUCATION

Marc received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a MS magna cum laude in business engineering from the Solvay School at the University of Brussels. He also graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain.
