EXPERIENCE

Mayumi Idate joined Bain Capital in 2024. She is a Vice President of Human Resources for Japan. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mayumi was head of People for WWJ Corp., responsible for the overall operation and management of HR, strengthening labor management, and improving employee engagement. Mayumi started her HR career at Lehman Brothers and then Nomura Securities where she was primarily responsible for global HR coverage for the corporate divisions.  She also participated many HR projects, including HR system transformation.  

EDUCATION

Mayumi received an MS in applied social psychology from the University of Sussex.
