Paul Kelly

EXPERIENCE

Paul Kelly joined Bain Capital in 2025. He is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer for our Credit business, responsible for strategic planning, financial management, and driving the technology and operations strategy. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Paul was the Managing Director, Global Head of Alternatives for DWS Group. Previously, he worked at Blackstone as a Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Credit organization. Prior to Blackstone, Paul spent nearly 20 years at JPMorgan in various leadership positions. 

EDUCATION

Paul received his MBA from Columbia Business School and his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University.
