Rahim Chunara

EXPERIENCE

Rahim Chunara joined Bain Capital in 2025. He is a Managing Director on the Special Situations team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Rahim was a Managing Director at Brookfield Asset Management where he led the Brookfield Special Investments strategy in Australia. He was also actively involved in the firm’s private equity strategy and its portfolio companies in Australia. Prior to his time at Brookfield, Rahim was a Vice President at BlackRock where he was responsible for the firm’s opportunistic credit investments in Australia

EDUCATION

Rahim holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales.
