Sarang Desai

EXPERIENCE

Sarang Desai joined Bain Capital in 2024. He is an Operating Partner in the Special Situations Portfolio Group with specific responsibility for the India portfolio.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Sarang was a Senior Vice President with Axis Bank in their Digital Business unit. Previously he was a Senior General Manager with Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services and an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company focusing on Financial Services. 

EDUCATION

Sarang has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad.
