Scott McKenzie

EXPERIENCE

Scott McKenzie is an Entrepreneur in Residence with the Tech Opportunities team. From 2019 – 2025, he was an Operating Partner at the firm, partnering with Tech Opportunities’ portfolio companies to support their value creation initiatives. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Scott was the Chief Product Officer at automotiveMastermind, an automotive software company purchased by IHS Markit. He was also an Associate Director at JMI Equity, a technology focused growth equity firm. Scott began his career at LEK Consulting in Boston.

EDUCATION

Scott received a master's in management studies from the Fuqua School of Business and a BS in economics with a minor in film from Duke University.
