Yuji Takei

EXPERIENCE

Yuji Takei joined Bain Capital in 2020. He is a Partner on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Yuji was COO and head of the investment division at Japan Industrial Solutions where he led many investments and post-acquisition processes in various industries in Japan. Previously, he was a senior partner at Advantage Partners where he led management and leveraged buyout deals. Yuji also spent several years as a partner at A.T. Kearney and a manager at McKinsey & Company on developing growth strategies, operational improvement, and M&A/alliance execution in industrial goods, consumer goods, retail, and financial industries.

EDUCATION

Yuji received an MBA from Harvard Business School. He received a BA in law from University of Tokyo.
