Bain Capital Boston Office Goes “Casual for a Cause” in Support of Community Servings

On Friday, October 20, the Bain Capital Boston office went “Casual for a Cause” in support of Community Servings.  Community Servings had staff in the square to chat with employees and were able to raise $500 in donations to the organization and sell $500 in pies for their annual Pie in the Sky Fundraiser.

Thanks to all who participated in the Casual for a Cause day and/or made a donation. And it’s not too late to buy a pie! Pies are available for purchase until Monday, November 13 and can be purchased here. Each pie sold provides one Community Servings client with 1 week of meals.

If you are traveling over Thanksgiving or prefer to bake your own pie, consider donating a pie for a client and help Community Servings feed homebound and critically ill individuals and families. You can also gift a pie to a friend!

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts and in Rhode Island to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. They give their clients and their families nutritious meals and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Their goal is to help their clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs.
