On May 2, a team of six Bain Capital employees participated in a charity basketball tournament to benefit the Blue Hill Boys & Girls Club.  Bringing together teams representing some of Boston’s leading companies, the tournament raised money to support the Boys & Girls Clubs’ vital mission to help young people build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. This was the second consecutive year that Bain Capital organized a team to compete in the tournament.

The Blue Hill Club is a chapter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (BGCB) that serves the communities of Dorchester and Mattapan.  Bain Capital has supported BGCB for more than 25 years, dating back to when Bill Bain, Jr. first joined BGCB’s Board of Directors. Since then, more than 200 Bain Capital employees have volunteered their time or made donations in support of BGCB’s mission. In total, Bain Capital employees and their families have contributed more than $40 million to fund BGCB’s youth development work throughout Boston and nearby Chelsea.
