Bain Capital Credit Finance and Operations Team Goes Casual for a Cause on Veterans Day

The Finance and Operations team of Bain Capital Credit continued their tradition of going Casual for a Cause around holidays this year and for the first time, this included Veterans Day. Home Base was selected as their inaugural Veterans Day charity and the team was able to donate $1,000 to the organization.

Home Base, a partnership of the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital, is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for post-9/11 service members, veterans and their families through clinical care, wellness-based programs, community outreach, education and research. Today, Home Base is the only private sector clinic in New England, and the largest private sector clinic in America with the sole focus of helping at-risk veterans and military families regain the lives they once had.

Of Home Base and the inaugural Veteran's Day Causal for a Cause, Executive Vice President of Operations, Bain Capital Credit, Andy Viens said, "This year in particular, it was important to recognize that the freedoms we have are not free, and we wanted to support the men and women who have and are fighting to protect us every day. Home Base's mission is directly focused on supporting veterans returning from parts of the world where the threats against our democracy are greatest."

Since their founding in 2009, Home Base's treatment and support programs have directly served more than 4,100 veterans and service members and more than 3,300 family members.
