​On July 27, Bain Capital Credit joined City Year corps members for a day of service at the Joseph P. Tynan Elementary School in South Boston. The Tynan School community has a culturally and academically diverse student population of 400 students. The school welcomes general education students, autistic students, and English language learners.

The Bain Capital Credit volunteers engaged in a wide-range of activities at the school including, painting mural in the cafeteria basement hallway and gym hallway, repainting exterior brick of the building, and creating school supply kits for every Tynan student.

Through their collective efforts, the volunteers helped transform the Tynan into a more vibrant and welcoming environment for students for the upcoming school year and beyond.
