On April 18, 190 runners will take on the Boston Marathon® in support of Boston Children’s Hospital, and Bain Capital is a proud supporter of the Hospital’s Miles for Miracles Boston team. The Miles for Miracles Boston Marathon® team members will join 30,000 of the world’s best runners over 26.2 miles, and they’ll be cheered along the way by patients and families who have benefited from Boston Children’s Hospital’s world-class care.

All money raised by the Miles for Miracles team will go to the Children’s Fund of the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, which provides an unrestricted pool of funding to support patients and families. The funding helps BCH to undertake research to find cures, and it also goes toward services that improve quality of life for patients and families who often spend many weeks at the hospital, such as birthday celebrations for patients and their siblings, pet therapy visits, and subsidized housing for families.

Over 20 years, Bain Capital has contributed more than $30 million in support of Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition to our support for the Miles for Miracles team, hundreds of Bain Capital employees and their families have participated in the annual Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital. Bain Capital is also a supporter of the Champions for Children’s Gala, which supports the vital work of the hospital in caring for 500,000 children each year.
