Supporting small merchants in establishing an online sales channel during lock-down

In addition to providing authorities with day-to-day transaction data for them to track the impact of the pandemic in different industries, Nets launched a special offer for impacted SME customers in the Nordics and the DACH region. Following the lock-down many smaller merchants, who were only selling their goods in their physical store, suffered from a dramatic drop in sales revenues. To help the impacted customers quickly establish a new sales channel, Nets offered their eCommerce solution for free for three months (sign-on, subscription, transactions and acquiring) to merchants who wanted to launch a web-shop. Due to the urgency, Nets ensured that the payment solutions were up and running within 48 hours.
