TOKYO – April 3, 2022 – Bain Capital Private Equity (“Bain Capital”), a leading global private investment firm, today announced it successfully acquired all shares of Evident Corporation (“Evident”), formerly known as the Scientific Solutions Division of Olympus Corporation (“Olympus”). Closing of the transaction followed receipt of necessary approvals from all relevant authorities and regulators in Japan and other jurisdictions.
