Chris Gordon joined Bain Capital in 1997. He is a Partner, Co-Head of Global Private Equity, Co-Head of Bain Capital’s North America Private Equity business, and Global Head of Healthcare.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Gordon has actively served on the Board of Directors for a wide spectrum of prominent healthcare companies in which Bain Capital has made investments including HCA, Quintiles Transnational (now IQVIA), Grupo Notre Dame Intermedica, Air Medical Group Holdings, Acadia, Beacon Health Options, Physio Control, QuVa Pharamceuticals, Waystar, Aveanna, Surgery Partners, Stada GMBH, US Renal Care, and Cerevel Therapeutics.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Gordon was a consultant at Bain & Company.  He is a founding Director of the Healthcare Private Equity Association and is engaged with numerous nonprofit organizations.  He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.


Education

Mr. Gordon received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College graduating magna cum laude and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
