EXPERIENCE

Dave Heaney joined Bain Capital in 2026. He is a Vice President in the Portfolio Group and a member of the North American Private Equity team. Dave focuses on cybersecurity to help build and grow our portfolio companies

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Dave served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Mass General Brigham where he led cybersecurity initiatives across the healthcare system. Previously, he held leadership roles in the EY Cybersecurity practice and at The TJX Companies.

EDUCATION

Dave received a BS in computer science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
