Dwight Poler
EXPERIENCE

Dwight Poler joined Bain Capital in 1994 and is a Senior Advisory Partner to the firm. Previously, Dwight served as Chair of Europe Private Equity. He helped found the firm’s Europe business in 2000 and managed it until 2018. During his tenure, Dwight was active across all industry verticals and led several important investments.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Dwight was a consultant at Bain & Company where he worked in the technology, consumer products, and financial services industries. Previously, he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley with a focus on technology deals.  Dwight chairs the Board of Directors of The Boston Foundation, serves on the board of Amherst College, on the MIT Sloan Visiting Committee and the MediaLab Advisory Council.  He also co-founded the Private Equity Foundation (now Impetus PEF) in London and has served as an Adjunct Professor at London Business School.

EDUCATION

Dwight received an MBA with distinction from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth where he was a Tuck Scholar. He received a BA from Amherst College.
