Emily James

EXPERIENCE

Emily James rejoined Bain Capital in 2022. She is a Vice President of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. Previously, she was a member of Bain Capital’s North America Private Equity HR team, supporting investment professionals’ full career path.

Prior to rejoining Bain Capital, Emily spent three years at MIT Sloan, advising students within the Master of Finance and MBA programs and incorporating inclusion best practices into staff and student programming. She has also held positions at McKinsey & Company on their recruiting team and in the development office for Emmanuel College.

EDUCATION

Emily received an MS in human resource management from Emmanuel College and a BA in psychology from Connecticut College, where she graduated summa cum laude.
