Experience
Ms. Murphy rejoined Bain Capital in 2014. She is the Head of Fund Tax for Credit and Special Situations and is a Vice President. She is responsible for managing tax matters related to deal and fund structuring. Ms. Murphy initially joined Bain Capital in 2008, where she worked in the tax department until 2011.
Prior to rejoining Bain Capital, Ms. Murphy worked in the international tax practice at PwC, focusing on clients in the financial services industry and as a tax attorney at Frost Brown Todd LLC. Prior to initially joining Bain Capital in 2008, she worked in the state and local tax practice at EY.
Education
Ms. Murphy received a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Capital University Law School and a B.S. in Communication from Ohio University.
