Erin Sullivan Murphy

EXPERIENCE

Erin Sullivan Murphy initially joined Bain Capital in 2008 and then rejoined the firm in 2014. She is a Vice President and Head of Fund Tax for the Credit and Special Situations businesses. Erin is responsible for managing tax matters related to deal and fund structuring. Previously, Erin was a member of the Tax team.

Prior to rejoining Bain Capital, Erin worked in the international tax practice at PwC, focusing on clients in the financial services industry and as a tax attorney at Frost Brown Todd LLC. Prior to initially joining Bain Capital, she worked in the state and local tax practice at EY.

EDUCATION

Erin received a JD and LLM in Taxation from Capital University Law School and a BS in communication from Ohio University.
