Hardy Zhang

Hardy Zhang initially joined Bain Capital in 2015 and then rejoined the firm in 2023.  He is a Managing Director in the Portfolio Group and a member of the Asia Private Equity team.

Prior to rejoining Bain Capital, Hardy was the CFO for Momenta, a leading autonomous driving technology company, and the CFO for Niu Technologies, an electric scooter company listed in the US (NASDAQ:NIU). Previously, Hardy  worked as CFO and supervisor on the Board at Hoau Group, a buyout of CITIC Private Equity. Prior to joining Hoau Group, he worked as consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Beijing on strategy implementation for SOE and local companies. Prior to that, Hardy worked at A.P.Moller – Maersk Group in various finance and business development functions in Asia and Europe regions.
