Experience

Mr. Mak joined Bain Capital in 2019. He is a Principal focused on acquisitions, portfolio management, and dispositions across various real estate property sectors. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Mak was a Vice President for Artemis Real Estate Partners, where he sourced, executed, and structured value-add and core-plus real estate investments on the West Coast, as well as supported the firm's asset management activities.  Before Artemis, Mr. Mak was an Assistant Vice President at BayNorth Capital, responsible for acquisitions and asset management of the firm’s real estate investments. Mr. Mak has completed transactions across major property types, including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, medical office, and self-storage.


Education

B.S. in Economics, with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude.
