Experience

Jeffrey Green joined Bain Capital Life Sciences in 2017. Prior to joining Bain Capital, he was a Portfolio Manager for Citadel / Surveyor Capital managing a diversified healthcare portfolio. Prior to joining Citadel, Dr. Green managed a therapeutics portfolio at HealthCor Management. His prior experience also includes healthcare private equity and venture capital investing at Warburg Pincus, healthcare M&A at Wasserstein Perella, and healthcare equity research at Sanford Bernstein.

Before he transitioned into a career in finance, Dr. Green served as a fellow and attending physician on the academic staff at UCLA, specializing in orbital tumors and ocular plastic surgery, and then moved on to the full-time academic staff at Harvard Medical School – where he was the Director of the Emergency Room at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.


Education

Dr. Green received his MD and BA from Brown University where he was awarded the McGraw Hill Book Award as top-ranked student in his medical school class. He received an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was also the top-ranked student in his class. He also served in the U.S. Air Force achieving the final rank of Captain.
