EXPERIENCE

Jenelle DeVits joined Bain Capital in 2022. She is Associate General Counsel for North America Special Situations.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Jenelle was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Boston, primarily focused on debt finance and special situations. Prior to Kirkland & Ellis, she was a debt finance attorney at Ropes & Gray, LLP.

EDUCATION

Jenelle received a JD from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Most Outstanding Law Student Award upon graduation. She received a BS from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, where she was a student-athlete for the Division 1 Women’s Basketball team. Jenelle is a member of the state bar of Massachusetts and New York.
