EXPERIENCE

Jordi Diaz joined Bain Capital in 2024. He is a Managing Director and Head of Data Science and AI, leading the firm's data science and artificial intelligence strategy.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Jordi was a Partner and Global Head of Data Science at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey & Company, where he spent over seven years transforming companies with data science and AI.

EDUCATION

Jordi graduated with a telecommunications engineering degree from UPC Barcelona and holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Jordi was also a fellow in the Advanced Study Program at MIT.
