EXPERIENCE

Kazunari Obama joined Bain Capital in 2017. He is a Principal and member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, focusing on investments in the Consumer and Technology verticals.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Kazunari worked at Goldman Sachs in the Tokyo office on M&A and finance engagements for corporate clients and financial investors across a range of industries.  Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked as an investment banker at Mizuho Securities in Tokyo.
 

EDUCATION

Kazunari received a BA in economics from Keio University in Tokyo.
