Matt Cannan

EXPERIENCE

Matt Cannan joined Bain Capital in 2012. He is a Partner on the Insurance team and was involved in the strategic development of the business. Previously, Matt was a member of the Credit team focused on investing in insurance and broader financial services. Prior to that, he was based in Hong Kong where he helped establish and expand Bain Capital's Credit business in Asia.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Matt was an Associate and Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs.

EDUCATION

Matt received a BA from Case Western Reserve University.
