EXPERIENCE

Matt Liu joined Bain Capital in 2016. He is a Principal and a member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, focusing on investments in the Consumer and Industrials verticals.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Matt worked at Bain & Company in the Shanghai office, focusing on commercial due diligence and growth strategy for various financial investors and corporates in the consumer, retail, and industrial sectors.
 

EDUCATION

Matt received an MS in system engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BEng from South China University of Technology.
