Melaku Arega, MD

EXPERIENCE

Melaku joined Bain Capital Life Sciences in 2022 as an Associate. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Melaku was a medical student at Harvard Medical School, where he received clinical training and cared for patients in the inpatient medical services at Beth Israel Medical Center as well as other Harvard affiliated hospitals. While in medical school, Dr. Arega was an active cancer care disparities researcher.

EDUCATION

Dr. Arega received his MD from Harvard Medical School and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BS in neuroscience and molecular & cellular biology.
