EXPERIENCE

Michael Hui joined Bain Capital in 2024. He is a Partner and Head of Special Situations and Real Estate in China. Michael also supports transactions with equity and real estate components across Asia.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Michael was a Partner and a member of the Global Corporate and Growth Investment Committees at Goldman Sachs’s Asset Management Division. At Goldman Sachs, he focused on several asset classes including real estate, private equity, and growth equity at different points during his 20-year tenure across the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices. Michael most recently served as the Head of China Private Equity and Growth Equity.

EDUCATION

Michael graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BSc in actuarial science with First Class Honours.
