Michael Siefke

EXPERIENCE
Michael Siefke joined Bain Capital in 2001. He is a Partner, Chair of Europe Private Equity and leads the Industrials vertical globally. Michael is also responsible for Bain Capital’s activities in other German-speaking regions.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Michael worked for The Carlyle Group in Germany. Previously, he worked as an assistant lecturer at Westfaelische-Wilhelms-University specializing in accounting, auditing, and finance.
EDUCATION
Michael holds a summa cum laude PhD from Westfaelische-Wilhelms-University, where he also received an MBA.
