Michelle Auchincloss

EXPERIENCE

Michelle Auchincloss joined Bain Capital in 2026. She is a Managing Director on the Investor Relations team, leading strategy and execution with a focus on capital formation, investor engagement strategy, and operational excellence globally.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Michelle was an Executive Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Internal Consulting at State Street Corporation. In that role, she developed the corporate strategy, drove the mergers and acquisitions agenda, and managed a portfolio of minority investments. Before that, Michelle was an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, where she led due diligence for investors and advised clients on performance improvement and growth strategy. Earlier in her career, she held strategy roles in asset management and was an investment banking analyst.

EDUCATION

Michelle holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a BS in management from Boston College, and a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
