EXPERIENCE
Mike Murphy joined Bain Capital in 2015. He is a Partner on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team. Mike played a leading role in opening the Australian offices, building up the Australian team, and increasing local market presence. He has worked in the Sydney and Hong Kong offices.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mike spent time as an investment professional at Wolseley Private Equity, a Sydney based mid-market firm, and as a management consultant with Bain & Company where he advised clients in a broad range of industries.
EDUCATION
Mike received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He also holds an LLB (Honours) and BComm from Bond University.
