Shunsuke Wakita

EXPERIENCE

Shunsuke Wakita joined Bain Capital in 2020. He is a Principal and a member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, focusing on investments in the Consumer and Technology verticals.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Shunsuke worked at The Longreach Group, a pan-Asian private equity fund, where he led buyout investments and post-acquisition processes in various industries in Japan. Previously, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the Tokyo office and was engaged in M&A advisory and equity/debt offerings for the financial services industry.
 

EDUCATION

Shunsuke received an LLB and LLM in international law from University of Tokyo.
