EXPERIENCE

Stephen Lantz joined Bain Capital in 2026. He is a Principal on the Special Situations team, where he focuses on investments in consumer, financial and business services.

Previously, Stephen was a Principal at Thomas H. Lee Partners, where he focused on Financial Services and Technology investing. Prior to THL, he held roles at M33 Growth, Duck Creek Technologies, and Apax Partners.

EDUCATION

Stephen received a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School.
