EXPERIENCE

Steve Pagliuca is a Senior Advisor to the Private Equity team. 

Since joining the firm in 1989, he has played a leading role in a wide spectrum of prominent technology, media, telecommunications, and financial services businesses in which Bain Capital has made investments.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Steve was at Bain & Company where he advised many Fortune 500 companies on business strategy and growth initiatives.

Steve is a Principal Owner and Co-Chairman of Atlanta B.C., the Serie A football club based in Bergamo, Italy.  Previously, Pagliuca was a Managing General Partner and Co-Owner of the Boston Celtics, where he also served as Chairman of the basketball committee and President of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation.

He is also active in a number of charitable and civic activities, is a member of the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors, the Advisory Committee of Bain & Co. and a Trustee Emeriti of the Duke University Board of Trustees.

EDUCATION

Steve received a BA from Duke University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
