EXPERIENCE

Steve Janco joined Bain Capital in 2025.  He is an Operating Partner on the Tech Opportunities team, driving value creation efforts across the portfolio and partnering with management to reach peak individual and team performance.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Steve was a Partner within McKinsey & Company's RTS (Transformation & Turnaround) Practice, serving as a senior operating leader delivering end-to-end value creation programs at scale. Before McKinsey, he served in a variety of operational leadership positions within the Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) community ranging from planning and directly leading combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan to managing nationally-sensitive diplomatic operations across Latin America.

EDUCATION

Steve received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BS in political science honors from the US Naval Academy.
